The University YMCA is searching for two AmeriCorps VISTA positions, (1) Communications and Outreach Coordinator and (2) Programs and Events Coordinator. The duration of this VISTA position runs from January 15 to May 15.

The Communications and Outreach Coordinator will increase community awareness and engagement by expanding knowledge of, involvement in, and support for the University YMCA's programming and financial assistance opportunities. More information about this opportunity can be found here.

The Programs and Events Coordinator will build partnerships, recruit, and organize community and campus members to participate in programs and activities that advance environmental protection and deepen civic engagement among young adults. This will be done through the organization’s already existing and future programs such as Dump & Run, Bailey Scholarship, and democracy work.
