Lara Terpetschnig

Lara is a first year Master's student in Information Management at the iSchool. She is the former president of Project4Less and continues to be an active member. She is also the secretary of the Student Board. In the summer of 2025, she was named an IHSI Community-Academic Scholar, and researched food insecurity among elderly people in Champaign County. For the past five years, Lara has worked as a library assistant in the collections department at The Urbana Free Library and recently began a position at the Ricker Library of Art and Architecture as an undergraduate supervisor. She is passionate about community-building, especially in an increasingly technology-mediated world.
