Kirsten Schaefer
Vice President, Student Board
Kirsten Schaefer (she/her) is a senior studying biochemistry and public health. During the school hours, you can find her researching antibiotic resistance or helping with REACT, a chemistry education outreach program. Additionally, she is the president of Amnesty International, a packaging supervisor for Project4Less, and vice president of the YMCA Student Board. A lifelong Champaign County resident, Kirsten combines her understanding of the community with the knowledge gained from classes, internships, and student organizations to bring awareness to and promote health by addressing food security, access to education, and community safety.
